Reposado Old Fashioned
Agave plays the starring role in this creative variation of the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. Blending the flavors of caramel, pepper, and oak present in Los Arango Reposado with fresh lemon and herbal bitters, this is certainly a new take on an Old Fashioned.
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Los Arango Reposado Tequila
- ½ oz Agave Syrup
- 3-4 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- Lemon Peel
- Large Ice Cube
Equipment
- Muddler
- Bar Spoon
- Old Fashioned Glass
Garnishes
- Lemon Peel
Method
Combine all ingredients except for the tequila into an Old Fashioned glass. Lightly muddle the ingredients. Place a large cube of ice into the glass. Add Los Arango Reposado and stir. Then rim with a fresh lemon peel and place into the glass.
